Overview

The Add to onVisit Add-In for Outlook makes it easier for meeting organizers to use the onVisit Invite service. With a single click, the add-in adds the email address meet@onvisit.net to the recipient list of a calendar meeting, ensuring that all meeting participants are registered as guests in the onVisit visitor management system (provided the organizer has an active onVisit Invite license).

Deployment Instructions for Administrators

  1. Deploy the add-in to your organization via the Microsoft 365 admin center or Microsoft AppSource.
  2. Ensure users who need the add-in have the appropriate permissions and licenses for onVisit Invite.
  3. Communicate to users that the add-in is available in Outlook and can be accessed from the meeting window ribbon.

End User Instructions

  1. Open or create a meeting in your Outlook calendar (desktop or web).
  2. As the meeting organizer, click the Add to onVisit button in the meeting ribbon.
  3. The add-in will automatically add meet@onvisit.net to the recipient list if it is not already present.
  4. Save or send the meeting as usual. All participants will be registered as guests in onVisit (if your account is licensed for onVisit Invite).
